The Real Cost

A dead router
costs more than you think.

When the connection drops, the meter starts running. Here's what one bad outage actually costs an owner-operator.

Missed Load
$1,800
Average revenue lost when dispatch can't reach you and the load gets reassigned.
HOS Violation
$2,750
Average fine for an ELD-related logbook violation when your e-logs go offline.
Lost Drive Time
90 min
Pulling into a truck stop to troubleshoot, calling around, hoping someone picks up.
Late Delivery Penalty
$500+
Detention fees, broker penalties, and the damage to your on-time reputation.
One bad outage in a year pays for Road Warrior twice over. Most drivers have several. We make sure they don't cost you a thing.

Common Questions

Straight answers.

Do I have to buy your hardware?
No, but it makes the service work better. If you bring your own Peplink, GL.iNet, or Cradlepoint, we'll configure remote access during onboarding (one-time $99 setup). New hardware purchased through us ships ready to go.
What carriers do you support? Do you sell data plans?
We support all major US carriers — Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and FirstNet — and we'll troubleshoot whatever SIM is in your router. If you'd rather have one bill and one phone number to call, we offer managed data plans through our carrier partners. If your existing plan is fine, we'll tell you that too. We make money on the support; we're not pushing data contracts you don't need.
What about Starlink? Should I get one?
Sometimes yes, often no. Starlink Mini has changed the math for some routes — it works at highway speeds in the right configuration. But it costs more than cellular, has thermal issues in summer cabs, draws meaningful power, and isn't a fit for every operation. If you're driving heavy interstate routes with Verizon and AT&T failover, you probably don't need it. If you're running rural lanes or parking off-grid, it's worth a serious look. The free discovery call is the right place to figure out which is you.
What happens if I call after midnight?
The 24/7 emergency line goes to a service that pages our on-call tech for genuine service-down events. Routine questions get a callback the next morning. We're upfront: we're not a 24/7 call center, but we are 24/7 reachable when the truck is down.
Can you actually fix things while I'm driving?
Most of the time, yes. Common issues like SIM failover, firmware glitches, IP renewal, and configuration drift can be resolved remotely without you touching anything. For physical problems — loose antenna cable, dead modem — we'll tell you exactly what to check at your next safe stop.
Is there a contract?
Month-to-month. Cancel anytime. We earn the renewal every month or we don't deserve it.
Do you do fleet pricing?
Yes. 3–9 trucks: $89/month per truck. 10+ trucks: custom pricing with dedicated onboarding. Email fleet@techsolve.llc for a fleet quote.
What if I need help with my ELD or dispatch software?
Our scope is connectivity — the network layer that lets your ELD and dispatch software work. We'll diagnose whether the problem is your connection or the application itself, and we know the common gotchas with major ELD providers. For application-level issues, we'll point you at the right vendor support line.
Are you part of TechSolve, LLC?
Yes. Road Warrior is the trucking-specific service from TechSolve, LLC — the same team that supports thousands of mobile professionals across North America. We just built a service tailored to the unique needs of the cab.
